Vice President and CFO
In his role as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ryan’s responsibilities include working with clients on their financial planning and investment management, assisting the firm’s 401(k) / 403(b) service and helping with day-to-day financial operations. He has more than 6 years of tax advisory and financial services experience working within Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office. His clients in the past have included asset management firms located across the country in the hedge fund, private equity and mutual fund space. He also held a number of leadership roles within Ernst & Young, leading efforts to integrate technology resources across all financial services offices in the U.S. and serving as a liaison between EY leadership and employees as part of their People Advisory Board.
Ryan is a current member of the Financial Planning Association and recently earned his Certified Financial Planning designation. He is also a member of the AICPA and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. (open to still register in NY). Ryan earned his Master’s in Financial Planning with a certificate in Tax from Bentley University, and holds a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in management from Bentley as well.
Outside of his role at Bouchey Financial Group, Ltd. Ryan is passionate about giving back to his community. He currently volunteers with Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York providing real world business experience and lessons to high school students. Ryan is a member of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center Junior Committee, a dynamic group of individuals who help plan fundraising activities and raise support for SPAC and the arts community in and around Saratoga. He is also an active planning committee member with Seton Health Foundation and in this role is responsible for fundraising efforts to help support the Seton Health pediatrics program.
